Wewe Talks is committed to protecting your privacy. Your learning journey is personal, and your data should be too.
1. Local-First Architecture
Wewe Talks uses local AI models that run entirely on your device. All conversation data, learning progress, and personal information are stored locally on your phone. We do not transmit your conversations to external servers.
2. Data Collection
We only collect the data you explicitly provide, such as your learning preferences, language selections, and conversation history. This data is stored locally on your device and is never shared with third parties.
3. Model Downloads
AI language models are downloaded from official sources (Ollama) to your device during initial setup. These downloads are standard model files and do not contain personal information.
4. Beta Program Data
If you join our beta program through the Google Form, your contact information will be stored in Google Forms for the purpose of beta access coordination. This data is subject to Google's privacy policy and is only used to communicate about beta updates and feedback.

6. Third-Party Services
Wewe Talks may use third-party services for model distribution (Ollama) and beta program management (Google Forms). These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained locally on your device until you choose to delete it or uninstall the app. You can clear your conversation history and reset your learning progress at any time through the app settings.
8. Account Deletion
If you wish to permanently delete your Wewe Talks account and all associated data, you can submit a deletion request through our Account Deletion Form. Once processed, your account and all data will be permanently removed from our systems.
9. Children's Privacy
Wewe Talks is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or our official channels.
